SYNOPSIS:
After the events in Book I, Anna finds herself more entwined in the lives of the Sentient than she ever could have imagined. The prophecy that first got her tangled up in their business said that a child born to one Sentient parent and one human parent would be the undoing of the powerful, enigmatic group. Now those children are being hunted, and so are their parents. Anna's lot has been thrown in with those of the Dorns, and she finds herself in the midst of a battle where innocent lives are at stake.
